Public Records Request

The City Clerk's Office is responsible for public records and other information, including all resolutions and ordinances that are adopted by the City Council. Public records and other information can be requested through the online form or in person from the City Clerk's Office.

The City of Valley will process properly completed and submitted requests to examine records and/or obtain copies of records in accordance with Nebraska Statutes, City Code, and other applicable law. A Request for Records Form is utilized as the means to request access to public records. If the amount of time necessary to process the request for records is less than 30 minutes, you should receive the information within four business days and will be charged for copy costs. If the request for records will take in excess of 30 minutes to process, you will be notified of the earliest practicable date the information will be available and will be given a cost estimate. An administrative fee of $30.00/ hour will be charged and in some cases a deposit may be required.
