Water & Utility Bill Updates
April Utility Bills: auto-pay customers will need to pay manually again this month. We hope to have the auto pay feature up and running for next month. Due to the bills going out late, you will have until April 19th to pay your bill before late fees are assessed. To make a payment online, click here.
Discolored water: we are aware that many areas of town continue to see discolored water and understand how frustrating this is. PeopleService continues to flush hydrants to eliminate the discoloring and they are also looking into some of the older mains in town to see if any need to be replaced. The discoloring is caused by high level of iron and manganese that are naturally high due to the aquifer. The iron and manganese builds up in the water mains and when there is disturbance in the water pressure, the build up breaks away and gets into the water.
