On Sunday, July 26, 2026, shortly after 1800hrs Valley & Waterloo Police Officers were dispatched
to
E. Meigs St. & E. Reichmuth Rd. for a female sitting on the edge of the overpass. Officers tried to
develop a report with the female. The female continually refused to engage in any conversation with

still conscious and breathing. Valley EMS arrived shortly after and continued life saving measures.
The female was transported to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries sustained in the
incident.

We are not releasing the female’s name for the privacy of the family.
