The occurrence of a loss of pressure in the distribution center over the weekend is a perfect example of why this survey MUST be completed by every resident who is on the Valley water system, every 5 years.  We need you to help keep our water systems safe!!!

Cross-Connection Survey

The State and EPA requires every home to evaluate for cross connection/backflow possibilities. This is done by completing the cross-connection survey that is being sent out by City Hall.

Cross connection contamination can happen when the water mains pressure is less than the connection and the flow can be reversed, introducing a contaminant to the public water system. Examples are sprinkler systems, boilers, pools etc. This survey allows a review of all connections to better protect our public water against back flow.
