!!PARK AVE & CHARLES ST STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS!! - SET TO BEGIN WEEK OF 09/07/2026
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The City of Valley Contractor, Vrba Construction, Inc., will be installing a new storm drain system along the east side of Park Avenue, extending north and south, and continuing east along the north side of W. Charles Street to connect with the existing stormwater system on the east side of S. West Street. Construction is anticipated to begin the week of September 7, 2026, and is expected to continue through the end of September 2026, weather permitting.
Portions of streets and sidewalks will be temporarily closed during construction; however, access to residential properties will be maintained unless residents are contacted directly regarding temporary access restrictions. Portions of select driveways and roadways may be removed as necessary for installation and will be restored following complete on of the storm drain work.
Residents and motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through construction areas and to follow all temporary traffic control signs and posted instructions. The City of Valley appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation throughout the duration of this project.
