Library Services

 

Circulation

Library checkout privileges are available to all area residents by signing up for a library card. Residents may be asked to show a photo I.D. or proof of address when signing up for a card. Cardholders may check out up to twenty (20) items at a time, and are limited to five (5) DVDs. Checkout periods vary, depending on item. Valley Public Library does not charge late or overdue fees. Fees may be charged for lost or damaged items.

 

Computers/Office Services

The library has computers available for use by children, teens, and adults. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. There is also free wi-fi available for users to connect on their own device. There is also a scanner available for use. Valley Public Library's office services and their costs are listed below:

 

Printing/Copying:

  • Black and White: $0.10/page
  • Color: $0.25/page

Faxing: $1.00 per every 5 pages

Lamination: $1.00/page (8.5x11 paper only)

 

Test Proctoring

Valley Public Library offers free test proctoring, subject to proctor availability. Students needing a test proctor should contact the library at 402-359-9924.
