  • The City of Valley is moving forward with the Champion Shores development on the north side of Valley St - across from Flatwater. It will be a NON-TIF gated residential development.
  • The City Council approved to keep the pool in the park. The city is looking at different ways to finance the project but we need community involvement. Stay tuned to how you can help!
  • In 2026 the city will be replacing watermains in the following locations: W. Alexander St, W. Charles St, W. Whittingham St, W. Waring St, Reichmuth Rd (by Casey’s). The city is working on an aggressive strategic plan to replace additional watermains and lines in the next 3-5 years.
  • The City is moving forward to implement a new finance and utility software system. This software will streamline many processes for the city and residents.
